Scholarships & Internships

Supporting Future Generations

AgGeorgia sponsors partial scholarships for students pursuing agriculture-related courses of study at Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College, Fort Valley State University, and the University of Georgia. These sought-after cash awards are distributed through the colleges to qualified candidates.

Farm Credit has had over a 20 year relationship with some of these colleges to assist students in their endeavors to obtain a college degree. Students attending these colleges and majoring in an agricultural field can apply through the college for the scholarships. Internships

AgGeorgia Farm Credit is looking for high-energy, results-oriented interns to work in our Perry Corporate Office.

Our paid nine-week summer internship program runs from mid-May to mid-July of each year.  The program offers hands-on experience in marketing and communications and human resources, while providing valuable insight into business operations at AgGeorgia Farm Credit.  The internship also includes weekly tours of AgGeorgia member farms and agribusinesses to allow for a broader understanding of agriculture.

To apply, go through our Careers page, or for more information please email our HR Department at agghrmailbox@agfirst.com.

“The most significant lesson I learned was how to work with customers. In all of the locations I spent time, each Relationship Manager went above and beyond to make the loans work for customers and put them first.”
