AgGeorgia Farm Credit is pleased to announce the addition of Jeanene Phillips as Mortgage Loan Originator. Mrs. Phillips brings a wealth of knowledge to AgGeorgia Farm Credit, with over 23 years’ experience in mortgage lending. Throughout her career, she has held every position throughout the process, from origination and underwriting to training and supervision over processing and closings in the mortgage department.
Mrs. Phillips has worked in the Farm Credit System for over 25 years, primarily with sister association AgSouth Farm Credit. Most recently, Jeanene was employed by AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, responsible for collaborating with management and technical teams to implement new mortgage software for the AgFirst District. In her new role, she will provide knowledgeable, locally originated loans for home purchases, construction, and refinancing, with the benefit of mortgage rates that homeowners have come to expect for their most important purchase.
Jeanene and her husband, Ronnie, are long-time residents of Statesboro. They have two sons, Jason and Josh, and four grandchildren. Mrs. Phillips is excited about this new opportunity to provide home mortgage solutions throughout AgGeorgia’s 79 county service area.
