About the Community Mission FundCommunity Mission Fund, AgGeorgia Farm Credit

AgGeorgia has allocated $50,000 for the 2026 funding cycle, providing grants of up to $5,000 per organization to support eligible non-profit organizations. These grants are designed to fund projects that promote agriculture, enhance rural quality of life, and build strong community partnerships throughout our service area.

Mission: To build strong partnerships and alliances by leveraging available resources to preserve and promote farmers, farm families, and rural communities.

Objectives: Invest in the future of agriculture in Georgia and enhance and positively impact the quality of life in rural communities.

Priority Funding Areas

While all eligible projects aligned with our mission will be considered, priority may be given to initiatives that:

  • Promote agricultural education and awareness
  • Support Veteran & Underserved Farmers
  • Strengthen rural communities

Grant Details

  • Maximum award: $5,000 per organization per year
  • One grant per organization annually

Eligibility Considerations
To be eligible for funding:

  • Organizations must be non-profit entities (individuals and private farms are not eligible)
  • Projects must serve communities within the 79 counties where AgGeorgia Farm Credit conducts business
  • Proposed projects must align with the mission and objectives of the Community Mission Fund

Application Process
The Community Mission Fund operates on an application-based grant system.

Applicants must:

  • Submit a completed online application
  • Include a project description detailing how grant funds will be used
  • Upload a current W-9 form

Please ensure all required fields and attachments are completed prior to submission.

Funding Cycle & Timeline

  • Application Deadline: May 1, 2026
  • Review & Award Period: Third Quarter of 2026
